Don't be fooled by simple look-alikes - these filters are the real deal, and in our opinion, the only option for Chemex brewing. And why is that so?

Well, Chemex unfolded filter papers are easy to use and give a different flavor than most other filter papers, due to their thickness. They are 20-30% heavier than competitive brands and remove even the finest sediment particles as well as unwanted oils and greases.

The cone shape ensures uniform brewing, as the water is filtered through all the coffee beans on their way to the top of the cone. So this regulates the filtration speed – not too slow, not too fast. The Chemex filter is strong and will not break either under the weight of the liquid when filtering, or when you lift it out of the sump.

We like a coarse grind when it comes to Chemex brewing, but who are we to say how you want your perfect coffee? Experiment!
